Moon App — Terms of Use

Effective Date: December 24, 2025

Welcome to Moon App, developed and owned by Roman Mahda (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Moon App (“the App”).
By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.

1. Overview

Moon App helps users track and analyze their sleep using Apple HealthKit and iOS technologies.
The App is designed for personal, non-commercial use only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Moon App.
If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.
By using the App, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Use of the App

By using Moon App, you agree to:

Use it only for lawful and personal purposes.
Not copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
Not interfere with its functionality, integrity, or security.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored within the App.

4. Health and AI Disclaimer

Moon App provides informational insights only and is not a medical device.
The App does not diagnose, prevent, or treat any medical condition.
Always consult a qualified medical professional for advice regarding your sleep or health.

Moon AI responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are for general informational purposes only. AI-generated advice should not be considered as professional medical guidance.

The information provided by Moon App is for general wellness purposes only, consistent with Apple’s HealthKit and App Store guidelines.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Moon App offers in-app subscriptions available through the Apple App Store.

Note: Prices may vary by region and currency. The final price is displayed in the App Store before purchase.

Auto-Renewal Policy

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Upgrades and Downgrades

Upgrading from a monthly to a yearly plan (or to a higher tier) takes effect immediately with a prorated credit for the unused portion of your previous plan.
Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are processed according to Apple’s refund policy. We do not process payments directly and do not store financial or billing information.

6. Third-Party Services

Moon App integrates with:

Apple HealthKit (Apple Inc.) — to read and display sleep data.
Firebase (Google LLC) — for analytics and audio content storage.
OpenAI — to power the Moon AI sleep assistant.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet all your expectations.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
You use the App entirely at your own risk.

8. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, content, designs, icons, and code within Moon App are the intellectual property of Roman Mahda.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
When updated, the “Effective Date” will change.
Your continued use of the App after such updates means you accept the new Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine.
Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms will be resolved under Ukrainian jurisdiction.
